She Art

Hi everyone. I know I haven't posted in awhile. I've been busy discovering She Art with Christy Tomlinson. She does the most amazing mixed media art and she teaches a workshop on how to do it on line. I have never done any kind of art with the exception of Scrapbooking. But I have always had a secret desire to create with paint and mix media. Christy teaches and guides you through everystep. It's a 3 week course but you have 3 months to do it when ever you want day or night. I'm having such a blast doing it. What I like about it is you use alot of what you problaly already have in scrapbooking . Like beautiful paper, glimmer mist, ink, rubons, paint, markers, pens to name a few. If you have ever wanted to do art I would say to take her class. I just finished doing week 1 where we created 3 she art girls on canvas. It was so much fun, they arn't perfect but like in scrapbooking you can do anything wrong. Any way here are my first she art girls. Here is a link

This layout is from sketch #155. The picture is of my mom with rollers in her hair. She never liked this picture but I think she is beautiful even in rollers.
